It’s early December and all through our home
There are snowmen and tree lights and even some gnomes.
Nativities of all kinds are in several rooms
To celebrate Jesus in the morn, night, and noon.
Jon keeping busy with jobs of all kinds
At home, on the farm, he never minds.
Luann moves more slowly but still gets things done,
Loves reading and writing and family fun.
Kelli and Jon still in Muscatine,
But the girls come and go, college their scene.
Bria is ending a semester in London
Studying something and traveling for fun.
Emmy has started at Central in Pella
Loves school, writing guides, playing Harvestella.
Tabbi and Trever don’t run quite as fast
Now they follow only football, GO BEARCATS!
Tre’s a sophomore, Tru’s a freshman both at Northwest (NWMSU at Maryville)
Both on the football team, MIAA’s best!
Megan and Greg busy raising kids
Needed a dog and along came Wilfred
A bernedoodle puppy as big as a horse
He’s fluffy and funny and loved lots, of course.
Oskar’s in sixth grade, band, orchestra, and symphony
Loves all kinds of learning and writing music.
Arya and Damian are in third grade
Love reading and Wilfred and now Pokémon craze.
We are blessed you can see from our heads to our toes.
And grateful for all as we come to a close.
We pray Jesus be near you with His peace, love, and light.
